The CFA hosted a breakfast seminar entitled "California Fashion Goes to Russia" at the California Market Center on May 16th, 2012. Andreas Kurz of Akari Enterprises presented opportunities for brand entry into the Russian market.  Andreas, the former CEO of 7 For All Mankind and President of International Licensing for Polo Ralph Lauren, recently returned from the February Collection Premiere Moscow ('CPM') Trade Show in Moscow, where he took with a group of prominent California and U.S fashion brands. Andreas, and a number of attendees, shared their experiences, answering questions about retailing in Russia and opportunities available for showing in the September 2012 'CPM' Exhibition.
